I am 22 years young and living the dream :) I moved to West Des Moines from a small farm town in Eastern Iowa about 2.5 years ago.  I started cosmetology school at 17 years old and only 2 weeks out of high school.  Knowing hair was my passion since elementary school, I knew I couldn't get where I wanted where I was living.  I pursued my dream of moving to a big city to work in a salon & spa after working behind the chair for about 2 years.  When I moved to DSM I started school at the Aveda Institute Des Moines for Esthiology and continued to work behind the chair.  I knew from the day I walked out of that school for the last time, that I just had to return back for something.  I had found a whole new love and passion for Aveda and making sure my clients left having the best experience of their life.  Now here I am! I recently left my job as a stylist/esthetician, and I am working as a cosmetology & esthiology educator at the Aveda Institute Des Moines.  It is by far the best move I have EVER made and I could not be any happier!!! My biggest passion has always been educating my clients, I am anxious to share my knowledge with all of you! Be sure to check back constantly, as I will always be updating every page!
